Of about two weeks ago, French Muslims were shocked to see one of their place of worship (Masjid) was shot using gunshot 30 times by unknown people.
This time, European Islamophobia is getting worse since some bandits carried out acts of vandalism on Muslim soldiers’ tombstones in the city of Tarascon, southern France.<<>br />
Some Muslim soldiers’ tombs – most of those were of World War II soldiers – were destroyed, while some others were spray painted on the tombstones.
Herve Morin, the Minister of Defense, could no longer hide his deep indignation knowing the incident.
“I wish to express my deep indignation at this ignoble and cowardly act," Herve Morin said.
"I bow before the memory of these soldiers with more emotion now that the ultimate outrage appears to have targeted them for their religious beliefs," he said.
He also called those bandits ‘ignoble and coward.’
Further information about the vandal action carried out by French Anti-Muslim unveils that three of total 130 tombs in the location were smashed. (dar)
