Treasurer of the Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Bina Suhendra said that he would take measures in maximizing all NU assets to help finance various needs of the organization.
"We will collect data on any asset which can purposefully be developed," Bina told NU Online here on Monday.<<>;br />
Bina said that in the coming 5-10 years, NU would have had such an independence in regard with self-financing.
To meet the expectation, Bina would delegate one of his deputies to specially focus on such efforts as managing and developing the assets.
In addition, Bina added, another important step was improving financial management in the Nahdliyin-based organization along with all its institutions.
Bina was of the view that to address the need, there would be training on what so-called as financial standard operating procedures (SOP) for NU institutions.
Asked about the merger of assets owned by all NU institutions and autonomous bodies in accordance with the general rules of the organization (AD/ART), Bina said that he would take brilliant measures aimed at preventing from any possible misunderstanding.
"We will seek solutions which are capable of accommodating their aspiration without putting aside the organization interest," he said. (mkf)
