Parties making people as coolies

The existence of the many new political parties will not automatically bring new hopes to the nation to lead to a more progress and better life. Instead of making people live in prosperity and making the nation be dignified by others, the parties tend to have troubled both the general election commission and voters, furthermore if looking at those established as if as a corporation whose capital orientation only.

The struggle of life facing the nation is very real that is dealing with the loss of sovereignty. The loss because of subversion and hidden separation has likely had legal legitimacy like the process of privatization and uncontrollable regional autonomization. Looking at our political system adopting liberal democracy, most apparatus and politicians have tended to be such practitioners of liberalism that is related closely to capitalism. That's why the main duty of parties' politicians is paving the way for capitalists' expansion.<>

For that reason people have always complained about the reform bringing no prosperity for considering that the reform constitutes liberal movement driven by capital owners to dominate all the nation's assets, economically, politically, and culturally. All the dominated assets have been protected by regulations formulated by legislators. The reason of privatization has likely regarded as such a trend in a modern world that adopts what called as free trade without considering its impacts being able to make people's economy collapse and make the role of state faded.

So it is reasonable enough if in liberal democracy there are some dreaming about people sovereignty. For in the liberal democracy controlled by the capital owners people have no right to vote. In turn their vote would be determined by those capable of paying them. So their status is not as voters but coolies, the ones for voting. The people have also known that the parties and national leaders will not struggle for their sake. For that reason they want to be paid in each process of voting for a party.

Similarly dealing with the nation's sovereignty. It has gradually vanished within the liberal political systems. The government as state apparatus has fully been controlled by capitalists so it could no longer guarantee social prosperity and keep its existence alive. While at the same time all state assets have been exploited by capitalists whose close ties with the government. In this condition the government has no longer made people live in prosperity. Rather it has considered the people as consumers or such market in selling all state's assets. While the people's rights having formerly been considered as acceptable services from state should now be bought. Furthermore the capitalists with their regulations have ordered the government on behalf of state not to give services to its people for being accused of violating what called as free trade.

Capital governmental system is one of colonial governmental systems. That is why, it will not be pro-people and state. People must be exploited and state must be controlled. All this has now happened in the country of ours. The systems could be well run for being supported by political parties' power including ruling politicians. The Islamic principle like tasharruful imam alar raiyyah manuthun bil maslahah (the decisions of authority upon the people must be based on public good) has likely faded because the government has no longer based its decision of public good but based on capital interest (manuthun bi raisil maliyah).

Looking at this reality, it is impossible to hope such change from political parties as happened in Latin America. In this region most people could revive the nations' and their sovereignty so the nations could be independent and in prosperity. In countries in Latin America many political parties' leaders including their presidents have handed over their salary to people. While in Indonesia legislators and state commission leaders in both executive and judicative have constantly tried to raise their salary.

Due to the fact, people should be able to see possibilities outside the parties. The parties can not only worsen the quality of democracy but they can also ignore the fate of people. They can no longer build a stabil political system for their goals in politics are not to build the state and make its people prosperous. Rather their goals are to seek their own interest by deepening collaboration with capital owners. In this respect the people will try to fulfill their needs by looking for their own leaders, formulating their own agenda that will lead to independence aimed at recovering the nation and people's sovereignty.
