Taking a stand against laws oppressing people

No. The liberal democracy is the one belonging to traders and businessmen. People are only the voters. It can be seen that all constitutions, laws and regulations emerging since the reform era have been the ones both oppressing and restricting people. All the oppressions and exploitations towards the people and the state have been protected by the 2000 constitution as a result of destroying the 1945 Constitution in the name of the people intention. Whereas all this is the intention of the global capitalists.<>
At present, People have not only lost their right and sovereignty, but also increasingly been oppressed by laws. Imagine a case of an old grandmother stealing three seeds of chocolate. Because of the case, she was brought into prison. Similarly, a poor man who who is hungry and thirsty for stealing a watermelon he should be jailed. Whereas the state should be blamed if there have been people found hungry. Even a man turning on his handphone to call his relatives by using a supermarket's facility as a result flooding and electricity shut off was also brought into prison. Whereas he just wanted to call his relatives to ask for assistance.
The latest is the case of Prita Mulyasari, becoming a victim of the OMNI international hospital for complaining its unprofessional medical treatment via email. Instead of responding to the unprofessional medical treatment complaint, the OMNI reported her to police and fined Rp 204 million. The court decision has triggered strong reaction from people having so far felt the victims of laws. People including scavengers, garbage collectors, students, housewives, workers have collected coins for Prita demonstratively. This is a fight against the colonial laws in which all big corruptors grafting trillions of the state's money could be released from prison. All this coincided with the 6 trillion graft case but laws have strongly tried to protect the its corruptors because they are wealth businessmen and the government's top officials.
Anytime the people will always be the victim of laws because in the colonial system, laws were a means of suppressing people and protecting the national elites and businessmen. The political system is a merely means of legitimating various regulations giving more advantages for them. So, if people want to get their sovereignty and legal protection, they should be warned that the reform is a forbidden (haram) tool and the betrayal of the ideals of revolution. Democracy, especially liberal democracy is capitalists' tool especially the elite circles to dominate the people. While laws are the chain aimed at restricting the people's freedom because the existing laws and regulations have been created by the colonial and the global capitalism to, once again, dominate the people and the state.
In this regard, what should be carried out by the people is rejecting the reform along with its products, namely liberal democracy with the multiparty, decentralization leading in turn to federation to solely undermine the Unitary State of Republic of Indonesia. People should reject the constitution amendments conducted by the foreign capitalists. That's why it is necessary to return to the original 1945 Constitution. Then the constitution should be ammended the the state itself in accordance with the aspiration and the ideals of the nation and all Indonesian people themselves.
People should be warned that the state has been under the colonization (in its new styles) and not colonized by the Dutch or Japan but been colonized by the international capitalism system which has robbed the nation's sovereignty. As a result the nation and the people can no longer formulate their own agenda. All agenda have been determined by other countries and other powerful bodies willing to constantly dominate the nation.
This awareness is very important so that the people will not most of the time continue to be fooled by the promise of the reform because the reform itself is a betrayal of the ideals of the revolution. And democracy is just a mask to fool the people so that they can easily be controlled following their voting rights are given. In turn their sovereignty will also easily be controlled. After their vote is given and then included in boxes, the boxes are later under their control. The people's vote will be used solely for their interest of colonization. Thus, both the colonization and the oppression they have launched are based on the people's vote so that the people can no longer move. Strong protests and any support for Prita and other justice seekers will soon be vanished because the emerging laws and regulations are for businessmen and the businessmen are to control the people.
Another victim will possibly follow if the emerging capitalistic and colonialistic political and legal systems have not immediately been uncovered. People should not just stop struggling for Prita and other victims as a result of legal violence. Rather, they should also fight against the capitalistic and colonialistic political and legal systems to protect the people and the unity of the nation. (Abdul Mun'im DZ)
