Hizbut Tahrir of Indonesia (HTI) is considered to have committed a fraudulent act for hanging banner of one of the NU autonomous bodies, Pagar Nusa, in the HTI Khilafah Conference 2013 in Jakarta, Sunday (2/6), as a sign of support for the establishment of the Khilafah state.<>

The banner hung on the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) stadium contains the official logo of the NU's martial arts organization with Sundanese jargon "Cadu Mundur Pantang Mulang" (never retreat never come home). Underneath it is written clearly "Pagar Nusa Tanjungsari-Sumedang", and "Ready to uphold the establishment of Shariah and Khilafah".

Secretary of NU Branch Board of Sumedang, West Java, Aceng Muhyi, said he was shocked and concerned with such information.

"We do condemn this (fraudulent) act," he told NU Online by telephone on Friday (7/6, adding that he was disappointed because so far in Sumedang Pagar Nusa has only been at the district level.
