Dissension amid resurgence

Most of Muslim countries being part of the third world may be considered as colonized ones that got independence between 1940-1950. in the era of colonization, devide et impera was a common tactic. Ironically, the divide and conquer policy has not vanished while the country got its independence, and even become such a time bomb that can explode in the future. But this fact remained with little fuss without reconsidering the colonial elements of the conflict. It’s also regarded as home conflict that should be overcome the government itself.

Yet amid the peaceful condition within the Muslim world a large range of conflicts between schools of thought, religions on the horrifying level and within a large-scale conflicts. These conflicts had formerly been on local or national scene, but the escalation is now very quickly and is capable of triggering global conflict. The raging of the conflict seem to have been realized by the leaders of the Muslim countries that this fact is out of genuineness.<> 

Recently, the strikingly conflict has been the conflict between Sunni and Shiite in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and Pakistan claiming a large number of victims. The countries seem to have realized the bloodshed was really useless and meaningless. But everything was running well without any control. This has absolutely resulted in the same conflict as that occurred in the country of ours that admitted or not belongs to both conflicting followers (Sunni and Shiite). It means the local conflict can lead quickly to an international one.

So far Islam has never been in unity. It has littered with differences, and khtilafu ummati rahmah (the difference is a blessing) should be a medium to enrich, complete, and safeguard one another. The dissenting opinion should be considered as a rahmah rather than a root of the conflict because the difference covers human, cultural and historical elements. It means that the human beings should be in difference on account of the difference of environment, culture, and history. Through the understanding, the relationship between schools of thought should lead to a mutual understanding.

of course the calm and togetherness make the Muslim world solid. The solidity would then produce such a world power that is absolutely difficult to be conquered. It would then  restrict the capital and imperial expansion. The devide et impera tactic supporting one side and oppressing another one. The supported side was then armed and triggered to fight against another. This scene has resulted in a constantly conflict. Due to the conflict the countries could no longer take a stand against the enemy. They were busy faighting against their own nation and their bothers of religion.

The strength of the imperialism within the Muslim world was resulted in due to the weaknesses of the Muslim world provoked by the tactic of the devide et impera. So the control of the power was not in the hand of the Muslim world but it was controlled by the colonizers financing and organizing the Muslim world. On account of the awareness especailly of Muslim countries’ leaders it’s expected they would be able to settle the tension. Muslim world summit taking up Muslims’ issues in Mekkah, Bogor, and the meetings in other countries such as Iran and Lebanon have called for the unity of the Muslims and as the momentum of the awareness. It then remains the steps on how to implement it.

If the awareness is not immediately translated to be a real step, the Muslim world with its huge habitants would lead to the dissension. The Muslim world will have no both strength and existence. If so, it would be a means to fulfil the interests of capitalistic and hegemonic out power. If the Muslims world is not soon aware, Islam would be vanished as communism through the reform agenda, democracy that are full of manipulation. 

The problem is that the Muslim world have not been capable of freeing themselves from the impact of capitalism and imperialism so they have tended to be the colonial powers, working to disseminate the ideals of colonialism. The habit could not make them independent economically and politically and make a decision. This fact would then strengthen the existence of the colonialism in the Muslim world. Whereas this is a far more dangerous threat for the Muslim world economically, politically and culturally and is vulnerable for the Islamic religion for their highest ambition is how to change Islamic teachings in accordance with the interests of both capitalism and colonialism, be aware!
