After a delay, the newly finished Jombang's NU Hospital (RS NU) was officially opened Saturday (10/3). The type C hospital gives its rooms the names of the founders of NU, including the name of KH Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur).

Giving the names of the NU founding fathers for the hospital's rooms is part of agreement between the directors and the Jombang's Branch Board of NU (PCNU).

"Because it belongs to NU and due to the instruction of NU clerics (kiai) we give the names for all of the rooms with the ones of the founders of NU," Bambang Hayunanto, the RS NU Director, on the sidelines of the inauguration told NU online.

For VVIP rooms for example, there is a great name of Hadratus Sheikh KH Hasyim Asyari, while the name of KH Abd Wahab Hasbulloh is for VIP room which consists of three rooms while the name of KH Bisri Syansuri is for one of the VIP rooms.

"While the name of (KH Abdurrahman Wahid) Gus Dur is used as the name of a main meeting room," Bambang said.

Former Director of the Jombang's Hospital added the RS NU is a class D hospital with 36 rooms, 4 VVIP rooms, 6 VIP rooms, 6 rooms for the first class, 8 rooms for the third class.

"After being opened, God willing, on Monday we can directly operate," he said. (dar)
