Willing to study abroad without fund, more over information about scholarship is also limited, never be confused! A monthly tabloid “Info Beasiswa” was published.
The 24-page tabloid contained a lot of information about scholarship both nationally and internationally for all educational levels from elementary school to doctorate program, teachers’ training and Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS).
<>The Info Beasiswa was the first tabloid giving information especially about scholarship and education. The tabloid was published by former Nihon NU activists in cooperation with BES Foundation.Chief editor of the Info Beasiswa, Khariri Ma’mun said, obsession to publish the tabloid was such a prioritized program of the Japan’s “Nihon” NU two years ago. Due to unexpectedly obstacles, the purposeful program could then be realized by scores of the Nihon’s NU activists following their coming back to Indonesia.
For the first edition (15 October 2006), Khariri explained, it would be distributed to all of the Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) throughout Indonesia, educational networks within NU milieu, and other central educational institutions.
“We expect NU cadres to know information access about free school for Human resources development within NU milieu,” Khariri told NU in few days ago.
“What we are now doing is a merely little effort to enhance NU generations that have been so far marginalized amidst the swift of information flow,” said the former chairman of Nihon’s NU law making body.
Khariri said that the BES would also give full bright scholarship to santris and students of Islaic Junior and Senior High whose good achievements and whose no enough money to finance their education. The program would be specialized for domestic schools.
Other program it would undertake is that giving opportunity to santris and students to take free English course dealing with TOEFL (test of English as foreign language) and Nihonggo (Japanese language). The expected program would be particularly focused on circles of Islamic boarding schools and educational institution such as Islamic Junior and Senior High.
