President to break fast with al-Qodiri boarding school students

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is expected to break the fast together with students of the Al Qodiri Islamic Boarding School after having a dialogue with  farmers in  Semboro district on Sunday afternoon.

A spokesman of the Jember district administration , DG Tarigan, told ANTARA on Saturday  the President’s schedule in Jember would be started at 2.30 pm with a dialogue with tobacco, rice and sugar cane farmers.

<>The President and his entourage, including First Lady Ani Yudhoyono and Agriculture Minister Anton Apriantono, would proceed to the Al Qodiri Boarding School at 4.30 pm to present a development fund for the construction of a health service post at the school.

The President and his entourage were also scheduled to perform  tarawih prayers (special evening prayers performed only during the Muslim fasting month) in Semboro, he added. (ant/sam)
