Indonesian Permanent Representative to the  UN Marty Natalegawa said in a  UN General Assembly session that  Indonesia had urged the UNSC to assure the mutualism symbiosis between the report and the third resolution.

However, Indonesia was remain "reject" instead of "abstain" to the resolution, which was believed could negatively affect the achieved progress, Marty said at the UN Assembly which is led by Vitaly Churkin.

Indonesia as the only Security Council member to reject the resolution, believed that sanction on Iran could reduce Iran’s trust to UNSC, she said. Marty stated that the report on 22 Feb 2008 caused both negative and positive situation, which needed UNSC both sides evaluation.

Indonesia advised Iran nuclear issue solution should refer to multilateral management integrity, known as Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), she said. "Therefore we propose the idea which was promoted by Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to assure that all NPT signers were guaranteed to have nuclear materials supply for the sake of world peace", Marty said.
