According to tempointeraktif.com, communication between heads of certain political parties has intensified following the legislative elections held on April 9, including among PDI-P Megawati Soekarnoputri, People's Conscience Party (Hanura) chairman Wiranto and the Greater Indonesia Movement Party’s (Gerindra) presidential hopeful Prabowo Subianto.

The PPP, previously a part of the Golden Triangle coalition of Golkar Party and PDI-P, claimed it would be willing to leave the coalition as the Democratic Party has secured the most votes according to recent tally.  (jp/dar)
