Taiwan’s Muslim to possibly invest of permissible “halal” product

Two Taiwan’s Muslims coming from Taipei Grand Mosque Salahuding Ma Chao and Tsa Ghao Si Hung came to the Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) to dialogue on matters dealing with halal products Wednesday (17/1).

The Taiwan’s coordinator of halal certificate affairs expressed there were possibilities to invest the halal products in Indonesia to then exported to their coutry.

<>Salahuding said though Muslim community in Taiwan was not as many as others, but there were many halal product markets can be found in the world’s most populous country as one of outstanding interest reasons.

While PBNU represented by Dr Bina Suhendra, is now active in NU Health Institution proposed further dialogues in addressing any prospective possibilities for both sides,” the former president director of Phapros. 

Bina offered products namely halal instant noodle and swallow’s nests that have in general been consumed by Chinese people. (mkf)
