An anarchic world order

At present, many have questioned negative impacts as a result of the "Smack Down" show aired by a privately-run television station following a number of injuries and possibly a death among children. We question how the wrestling program that is still fresh introduced have been spreading on such a scale throughout the country from Sabang to Merauke influencing a very deep awareness of Indonesia’s people. In fact, only children that have been so far influenced, the raising question is that how about our teenagers and young people.

The impact of the program showing violence is not a simple thing and automatically responded by people with little fuss. It should be such a task for economic researchers to eagerly scrutinize business strategies of the “smack down” and unveil whether its motives related to economy alone or not. This in turn needs political studies to know those being powers behind the violence business. In this case, intelligent agencies have to trace how the violence distribution networks are now made public within a very short period of time and have degraded the nation’s mental.

This is a shining example of life or anarchic world order of ours without any rules. Formerly, there were international laws, laws of war and UN convention in setting up rules of international relations. Unfortunately, all of the international laws relating to problems such as territorial borders, war, arbitration an so on have been now ignored by the Super Power and its allies. Israel backed by the US was allowable to bomb the Red Cross in which it could be considered as a barbaric act. But they have now viewed the impertinence in attacking hospitals for instance as a rationable measure. 

What is to say is that a number of world powers have now begun a primitive act by passing the bill of preemptive action enable a nation to go into another one without permission just to prevent any threats. In this case, there were violations to the international laws respecting territorial border problems. This means, sovereignty of a nation was ignored. At the same time, they had formulated the threats. Thus, the world powers would attact other countries due to a pretext of pursuing agitators in real or fictional scene like in Afghanistan and Iraq.

It's like a "smack down" show allowing any ways, so the world order developed by liberal-imperialists was really anarchic. In terms of the UN decisions, the US has what so-called as American exceptionalims. Other countries are forced to obey while the US and its allies are freely to violate. The imperialists have the rights to pursue nuclear weapons while the third world countries would develop such reactors are regarded to have threatened world peace.

Yes, it's time to struggle for the world order being more humane, controllable, peaceful, not an anarchic world order like both the smack down and rugby. A real life can not be put in disorder as fictional world. Why? Because every disoder would then claim many victims. That's why, to anticipate any conflicts as a result of the violence tradition developed by capital owners, the aired symbolic and concrete violence as well must be dropped as immediately as possible.

It's not impossible to voice the movements of anti-violence and humanity and at the same time in our daily life we still witness the violence. This should be soon stopped. In turn, we need to live life politely. Further more, we need directions and norms. For through the norms we as world communities would not attack one another. Otherwise, we can live life in harmony, peace, and strengthen mutual cooperations. (Mun’im DZ)
