Bolivia's President Evo Morales has confirmed his attendance at the 14th Heads of State and Government Summit of the Non-Aligned Countries Movement (NAM), to be run in Havana September 11-16.
Bolivian Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca said that representatives from that Andean nation are participating in the forum's arrangements, whose issues are of extensive interest for his government.
<>The diplomat stressed the prestige won by this bloc, as well as praised the NAM's role for strengthening links and the international support representing processes of progressive changes like those of his country.
A report from the Bolivian Foreign Affairs Ministry also states that the Havana meeting will be attended by important observers, guests and delegations from world organizations. (pl/dar)
