Zidane as a Truth Fighter

An influencing man, any time he moves, he will raise such an impact or resonance. Imagine, all play formations absolutely changed as Zidane received and drove the ball. The play then changed in accordance with the playmaker’s movements. Moreover when he played the ball by combining both the strength and intelligence. It was really not only an attractive but also dramatic soccer as  played by Zidane in the final event during the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

For the succesful performance as played by Zizou during the final match in the Olympic Stadium, suddenly, an Italy’s player did violate the fair play platform by voicing racial flur to him, as a “terrorist Muslim”. As a cool man, Zizou did not care of the verbal abuse, because he has often heard it, he then continued to pursue the ball. However, he was aware that letting someone using racial flur in the playing field is a mistake. Suddenly, Zidane was turning back and thinking to act as an effort to punish the racist player. For it was an important momentum of the world. While, the head referee did not notice the head-butted. He himself was acting to win the world attention. Zidane was then warning by words because the world’s ears would not see it.  Again, the World Cup was not the voice world but movement. Whereas the movement could not be performed by acting such violence; by using fist and foot for instance. Zidane, was then walking away from a scuffle. He suddently head-butted (Materazi) that was just a symbol of resistance, and a sign of foul.    

Again, the head referee did not know the reality, he then unceremoniously and deservedly thrown Zidane out of the game with a red card. It has absolutely an importance for Zidane in performing political play in the soccerfield. He could expose ice mountain of racialism coming into existence there and spreading across the Western community as at present. As an Arab and Muslim descent, he was the one of the victims. Zidane was trying to create such a dramatic situation in the moment to awake anti-racism movements of the world. He was even accurately performing the FIFA’s mandate.   

He was not a bad-tempered as thought by many. As the great figure, Zidane was thinking in lengthy sense within several seconds. He did know why he had to head-butted and did know what impacts emerging for the future of humanitarian movements. He head-butted in the depth consideration, not only giving impact in the playing field, but also awakening anti-racism movements all over the world to immediately react. Yes, political and cultural reactions have emerged. Hundreds of intellectuals in any discipline deployed to examine the meaning of the act.

Due to the very beautiful final match, he ended his soccer career as the great soccer player. So great was he that despite losing final match, and despite getting thrown out, he was still determined the winner of the Golden Ball Award as the best player of the world. Amid the world game arena, he was announcing to the world that he would end his career to meddle in other career as a humanitarian free activist. Nevertheless, Zidane was the symbol of the very influencing anti-racism movement.
