Ahmadinejad felicitates Christians on auspicious Chistmas eve

On the eve of the auspicious occasion of Christmas, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad extended felicitations to all believers of God across the world on the birthday of messenger of love and friendship.

He hoped for a world without prejudice and discrimination.

<>"God created Jesus Christ (PBUH) from the most pious woman," he said in a reference to verses about Mary from Holy Qur'an.

Ahmadinejad said that philosophy of creation of mankind has been to reach the heights of welfare and prosperity and prevalence of justice throughout the globe.

He deplored the current state of affairs which justice has been marred by corruption and violation of human rights.

Iranian president said that the mankind across the world are expressing indignation over the current situation calling for an end to violation of their rights and respecting lofty aspirations of Jesus Christ (Peace Be Upon Him).

"The God has promised to restore justice by the Savior of the Time when corruption and injustice reach the intolerable level," he said in his felicitation to all the Christians and believers. (irn/dar)
