Islamic world, victim of organized terrorism: Ahmadinejad

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Tuesday that today, the World of Islam is victim of an organized terrorism.
Addressing the first International Congress on the Culture of Resistance, inaugurated here this morning, he regretted that certain bullying powers, by producing weapons of mass destruction, are the main elements posing threat to human beings.<>
The organized terrorist groups have been created by these bullying powers, the president added.
He further voiced his concern over the sharp increase in the number of defenseless people massacred in the past one year compared to the figures of the preceding year.
The Iranian president condemned efforts made by enemies of Islam to depict Islam as a religion of violence. However,
he reiterated that the truth will soon come out.
The first International Congress on the Culture of Resistance was opened with a speech by Director General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools and Thoughts, Ayatollah Mohammad-Ali Taskhiri.
Representatives from 46 world countries are participating in the two-day congress. (irn/dar)
