In strengthening the Nahdliyah's line of thought for Muslim preachers, the Nahdlatul Ulama Preaching Institution (LDNU) of Malang held a training which was participated by board members of subdistrict-level LDNUs across Malang regency at Gedung Serbaguna of the PCNU, Jln. Krapyak Cepokomulyo Kepanjen Malang on Sunday (1/2).
"Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah is the only teaching that is true and be able to make Muslims safe in the world and the hereafter. It is the al Firqah an Najiyah," vice secretary of the advisory council of PCNU Hafidz Fanani said on the sidelines of the meeting.<>
He further quoted a hadist that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that "My ummah will be divided into 73 sections, all of them will be in the fire except one." The companions asked,'Who are they O Messenger of Allah,' Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "They are those who will be like me and my companions (Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah)."
While chairman of the advisory council of PCNU KH Muhammad Dahlan Ghoni expressed his great appreciation to the purposeful activity, adding it would expectedly give such direct impacts in increasing the understanding of Nahdliyah because "the Muslim preachers are the anchor capable of continuing the struggle ('lii I'laa likalimatillah') for conveying the words of Allah among people."
"The LDNU is a starting point of struggle because it is indeed the nature of NU struggle as a religious organization," he said.
Present also as speaker was Drs. KH Imam Ma'ruf. In the meantime he called on participants to be capable of giving such good examples in regard with the preaching materials before delivering them to the ummah. (mad)
