Golkar Party politician who is also NU young cadre Nusron Wahid expressed his utmost personal readiness to lead the Ansor Youth Movement of Nahdlatul Ulama, saying he would not drop out of the race.
Former chairman of the Indonesian Islamic Students Movement (PMII) considered the support from all Ansor branches was important to win the race, redoubling up on his pledge to consolidate with all Ansor leaders across the country.r />
"Whoever wants to move forward, I will keep moving forward because the more cadres take part, the better and the healthier the race will be,"he said.
Nusron said that he had consolidated with Ansor leaders in 24 provinces and some239 branches, adding that he had also held talks and discussed his candidacy by appointing cadres in each level.
"I will not set up success teams in any level because each regional and branch leader is my success team," he said. (min)
