Jakarta, NU Online
The Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) will embrace all NU  potentials such as politicians, businessmen and bureaucrats to  purposefully struggle for addressing all people in general and  Nahdliyin (NU followers) in particular.

The Nahdliyin-based organization is in need of all of the NU circles  to further cultivate relationships and communications among fellow  Nahdliyin.<>

"NU should necessarily be consolidated by building communications  and addressing any existing (NU) potentials such as politicians,  businessmen and bureaucrats," chairman of PBNU Ahmad Bagdja  told reporters here recently, saying there should be such a model of  network in building the communications.

Bagdja said the three potentials should immediately be embraced for  accommodating various policies and moves taken by the Indonesia's  largest Muslim organization.

"We will address all the (NU) politicians' businessmen and  bureaucrats because in bureaucracy there have been many NU  individuals in which there has so far been no any communication at  all," one of the strongest general chairman candidates of PBNU said.

Bagdja said efforts to meet all this would be taken and hopefully be  discussed in the NU 32nd Congress which will be held in Makassar,  South Sulawesi in the next few weeks.

Bagdja said that the need of strengthening the role of NU could be met if both the communications and the relationships among NU circles could be consolidated.

"The NU politicals are expected to pay more attention to the importance of political educations, giving understandings to the citizens and being able to giving more rational choices. Me do support politicians having moral integrity," former chairman of the Indonesian Muslim Student Movement (PMII) said. (mkf)
