Sudan's NU Branch Conference will Attended by Three Respected Rectors

Nahdlatul Ulama Special Branch Board (PCI NU) of Sudan will conduct the fourth Branch Conference. Three respected university rectors will reportedly attend the three-year agenda on 7 July ahead.

Stirring Committee Chief of the conference Moh Badrussalam Shof told NU Online after attending board meeting in the residence of Sudan’s NU Vice Secretary, Gus Moh Ali Zamroni in Khartoum, Tuesday (4/7).

The three prominent rectors are Prof Dr Abdrahim Ibrohim Ali (Rector of Khartoum International Institute), Prof Dr Umar Samani Asyaih (Rector of International University of Africa), and Prof Dr Sulaiman Utsman (Rector of al-Qur’an Karim University, who is also one of Sudan’s NU Advisory Councils)

According to Kang Badrus, popular name of Moh Badrussalam Shof, the invitation of the University’s prominent men was expected to introduced them to NU. “At least, they (the three rectors) will know more about NU,” he said. 

At the same time, chief organizing committee (OC) Faiz MA said, all technical preparations relating to the attempted event was organized well.

“Alhamdulillah, this conference is rather luxurious, it is located in Syirkah Hasananai. All this for Gus Zai’s approach, son of a leader of Pesantren al-Itqon Jakarta,” Faiz told NU Online by phone. (PCI NU Sudan)
