PBNU fixes secretarial administration to digital assets

The Executive Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) for the 2022-2027 period was inaugurated on Monday (31/1/2022). There are many agendas to be worked on in the near future. Among other things, PBNU will immediately fix secretarial administration, including digital assets.

 

The secretarial administration issue is related to the programs that will be rolled out by PBNU in collaboration with many parties, such as a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.

 

General Chairman of PBNU KH Yahya Cholil Staquf (Gus Yahya) said that currently the cooperation carried out with the two ministries had only touched 200 NU branch boards (PCNUs) throughout Indonesia. This year, he targeted to involve some 522 PCNUs, 34 NU regional boards (PWNUs), and 30 NU special branch boards (PCINUs) so that each will get a share. Therefore, secretarial administration will first be addressed.

 

“There are a lot of inactive PCINUs. Likewise, there are many branches that are still in disarray, such as in Papua. We have to fix this (secretary administration) first," said Gus Yahya.

 

The management of digital assets is also on the PBNU agenda which will soon be completed. One of them is about PBNU's official social media such as Twitter and Instagram. Based on information conveyed by PBNU Chairman Mohamad Syafi' Alielha, access to the official Twitter account @nahdlatululama has been handed over to the new management, today at 17.50 WIB.

 

The reason is that, since a few days ago, the official PBNU twitter account wrote and replied to the tweet in a humorous style which was considered unfavorable. This made the Secretary General of PBNU H Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul) gave an ultimatum to the old twitter admin to immediately hand over the account to the new management.

 

"I ask that within 1x24 hours the admin must go to PBNU and meet the new management to immediately hand over this account. Lately its tweets do not reflect the correct rules. The jokes are inappropriate and tend to hurt," said Gus Ipul in a written statement, Tuesday (1/2/2022).

 

Gus Ipul objected because many parties were made jokes, including the chairman of the PBNU Gus Yahya. However, not long after the ultimatum was issued, the PBNU official twitter account was finally handed over to the new management.
